There are so many my friends who have decided to have only and only one child and not more than that. Around you there are so many people give you free advise on this topic. But you should understand that ultimate decision on this topic is of yours. You child will be well taken care as your total attention will be on just only child and his development. In other words an only child get undivided attention of his/her parents.
• An only child does not have to compete with other siblings or will not be compare with other siblings.

What you as 'parent' should know :

• If you are really planning to have just one and only child, make sure you give him/her the best you can. Also, while you do not like other giving you advice, even you should refrain from interfering in other people's family planning related issues. It is something very personal to the couple and no one has the right to intrude in one's personal matter.
